Some blacksmiths you can pay to level up, I think the blacksmith near the Companions hold lets you do that.
Also you could make jewellry, gold and silver rings or necklaces as that levels you up really fast.
Also, get iron ingots and leather strips and just make hundreds and hundreds of iron daggers.
Or you could make hide bracers where you only need leather and leather strips.
Also if you have Hearthfire dlc, building a house and all the materials like nails, iron fittings, hinges etc levels you up pretty fast.
Also, make sure you have the Warrior Standing Stone perk which levels up Smithing skill 20% faster.

Done XD XD
In all seriousness, buy 5 skillups for each level you gain. Smith as many high level things as you can, which require the least amount of materials. High lvl armor/weapons give more exp. The alternative is to smith tons (and I do mean tons) of low lvl things. With some mods (or without them, maybe,) you can smith an iron dagger, smelt it, and use the new ore to smith more, letting you craft a lot more without wasting materials.
Cheers.. Finished all three houses now time for the grind fest of making tones of rings and daggers. The joys.
*that is to say, I'm given to understand it used to be a good way to level up quickly as you got a disproportionate amount of 'XP' compared to other items, but that was patched and is no longer the case
Said to my self I wont use commands till I have finished the game from start to finish after that I'm down for trying all the cool mods ive seen and commands.
Cheers for the tips. Everyone above has been more than helpfull cheers.
get the "ore convert" spell, mine/buy/get as much iron ore as possible, convert the iron ore to silver ore and the silver ore to gold ore (with the spell). then melt the gold ore to gold ingots and craft them to GOLD RINGS (!) or anything like that that requires JEWELS! (important because rings give the most smithing lvl up and the jewels even increase that)
Notes:
- ore convert requires standardly 88 mana per use
- this also works with silver (if you want to save mana) but then isnt that effective!
- if you dont kno where ore convert spellbook can be found, look in the wiki, because idk how the place where it is is named in english
It'll also level Alteration, depends if you are happy with that or not, of course.
If you are just interested in rewards and not the actual game, then learn how to use the creation kit. You can crack the game wide open with this in order to get your precious achievements...
If you do like playing the game, then um....doing the act increases the skill, you already know that, why want to get there faster? You don't want to die anythime soon, do you? So why the same for completing this game?
It is in Halted Stream Camp, a bandit camp/cave to the north of Whiterun (as the name suggests, follow the stream NW from the city to find it).
Barring that there there are tons of mods that adds craftable items to the game. Some exclusively for the purpose of leveling smithing easily.
Myself, I made a mod (for myself) that let me craft a piece of jewelry worth 1,000 gold for a single leather strip. Its easy to do. About 100 leather strips later I went from 20 smithing to 100. I then dumped the strips in a respawning barrel so they would be destroyed, because I just wanted the skillups, didn't care about the money. After a playthrough or 2 I just want crafting skills maxxed ASAP with as little work as possible.
