Which merchant has the most money and will buy ANYTHING from me?
Hi, I have a whole heap of flawless gems good armor and weapon sets, and jewelery in my inventory and chests at home, but no matter where I go, none of Skyrim's merchants can buy a bunch of them all at the same time. I am aware of the Investment and Merchant perks in the Speech skill tree, I have neither one yet, but for now, it would be very helpful if I could get rid of the really expensive stuff so I can make a huge profit and clean out my inventory.

Dragonborn DLC, a power called BLACK MARKET - summons a Dremora merchant - i believe he has 2,000 gold and buys anything. Power comes from BLACK BOOK Untold Legends found at Benkongerike

I got a Mod - will check it out for the name - that has effectively boosted all the merchants' cash... hold on will confirm (it's made a heck of a difference)

General stores (Belethor for example) will typically buy most items given they are not stolen. They take roughly two days to replenish gold.

That said, if you don't feel like waiting you could try out either of these two:

Why not become a trader yourself?

This mod needs a bit of patience at first, but works well, when you finally get started. You will always sell stuff out at vendor prices. Your follower can tend the store, when you are busy breaking homes searching sewers. If you are travelling alone, you will now have a reason to befriend with local followers, so they can keep the store open for you.

Try "Rich Merchants 10X", it gives all major merchants ten times their normal gold. You can find it in the Workshop (I'm not sure if it is on Nexus).

Without perks/mods/cheats, you can sell stolen items to Tonilia in the Thieves Guild, who will also buy everything, and has a relatively high amount of gold (1000-4000); while you are in Riften, you can sell loot to the traders at and around the marketplace as well. Blacksmiths usually have more gold than other traders, so try to sell any expensive weapons and armor to them first. In Whiterun, there are two blacksmiths immediately as you enter the city, and you can sell the rest of the items nearby to Belethor and Arcadia. Also, if they have expensive items that you want (for example, filled grand soul gems, or skill training), then buy those first, and only after that sell the loot.

Do not buy filled soul gems, buy empty ones and fill them by having a "Soul Trap" enhanced weapon and use them to recharge your magical weapons (good for skilling).

Consider getting "Fence" perk, allows selling stolen loot to any merchant.

Do Thieves guild jobs. Eventual appearing special jobs open up a merchant per job in the Ragged Flagon.

:hmm:

Since the OP specifically mentioned not having any speech perks yet, let alone the level 90 "fence", I assumed playing at a relatively low level with limited equipment.

In case you really ARE interested in doing the Dragonborn DLC early, the Black Market power from one of the Black Books is perfect.
The merchant even buys stolen goods.

Store the "Steal" goods in a safe storage for when you can use Fence, and sell off the Non-Steal goods - there's plenty of $ in that to begin with... the Mod I mentioned above is a good option :)

There you go :)

Do the theives guild quests -- you end up with several "fences" around Skyrim who will buy anything stolen or not, each with 4,000 gold.
