Just Bought Skyrim legendary edition, how much in Download size ??

Hi, just bough skyrim legendary, after insitall theyre'll be download on top,no doubt , so how much mb or Gig should i expect ?? o.O
- added later , only had base skyrim before and only use 2-3 mods atm ,so any problems there that might happen,? mods are gophers house upgrades and emersive armors n one other , - ..

O.o i have to re install whole of skyrim to upgrade to legendary , after putting the disk in ?

Skyrim, 3 DLC's and Hi Res Texture pack 1, 2 & 3 are 11.2 GB

do not worry about one file failed to validate, more then one file means you were missing game info

O_O ugh 11.2 gb I've only got 10/50gb left availble, so I go to skyrim's home site n down it all ? thanks by the way

Really is there anyone who reads the specs (HDD space req in this case) BEFORE they buy the game?

you should be able to download from the game disc (at least for the base game.)

From the sound of your reply, is this your first steam game? :P

Steam games download through your Steam program. Just click 'install' and steam will start getting it ready.

HDD space is easy to make :P (as long as you're not using a SSD)
Just delete something you don't use anymore >.<

True however it's a general thing .... everybody seems to think I've got a computer so I can run the game .... WRONG. I spend a lot of times on forums and it seems this sort threads becoming more common with the day.

To be fair, isn't the HDD space the LAST thing you ever look at? I'd be hesitant to even call it worthy of being listed on the 'system requirements'. All computers will have the memory to hold at least 1 game. In fact, most computers (older SSDs exempt) will be able to hold many, many games.

When your computer is full, you delete unneeded things (and store away needed things elsewhere).

It's not like the graphics card or processor, which aren't as easily and casually changeable. It's a non-issue.

Ahh im sry i meant ive only got 10gb availble in downloads plenty of space, on hdd, 4 days away and it shoots back up to 50gig downloads,

that dlc i just bought the disk for $40, legendary edition i didnt think i would have pay for downloading extra, thought that it'd be like a patch file thing o.O

Maybe you could pause the download (or close down steam) when it gets close to 10 gb? It'd prevent you from wasting precious gb for next month(?) at least :D

Huh? SSD's function just the same as an HDD, owned two of them myself. Skyrim's installed on my SSD.

thank god its 11.2 i had 17.somthin and thought that i would need something like 30 since its such a gigantic game
