XBOX 360 TO STEAM
i brought skyrim for xbox but why has steam not let us like link it i am really annoyed and i wont be buying the product twice any time soon any one agree?

because they are completely different things. if steam was own by microsoft maybe MAYBE we would be able to, but just deal with it, skyrim is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awsome and it's a different experiece if you mod it on the computer

You can mod it on xbox maby steam can at least search your xbox account and find out if u have acheviments on it or if u have it becuase its rediculous you have to buy the EXSACT same thing same story and same mods just different controls

its soo much easier to mod on the pc though, just a couple of file transfers, you need a special thing to mod xbox

Because steam is a business not a charity, and they don’t make one red cent off of Xbox sales of Skyrim (or any other game that valve doesnt publish). And integrating Xbox linking would cost money and wouldn't benefit steam in any significant way. Plus with steam coming out with their own steam box console in the near future, xbox will be direct competition (even more so then they already are).

If you want multiplatform account linking, use raptr or a similar service.

some games like portal 2 on 360 and ps3 give you an extra PC copy you can register on steam.

Silly, it's like buying a game for Xbox 360 and trying to link it to PS3. It just won't work.

Heh, when on xbox live with the 360 you can't even talk to people in party chat who are on xbox live via pc or xbox one so what are the chances, especially considering the obvious reasons already stated, of something like this ever happening?

Come to think of it, I had hundreds of records on vinyl. Why didn't I get free CD's !!

PC's need to rise up and exterminate ALL consoles if ever peace can be restored to the land.

It isn't really a real console. Just a purposely limited PC in a box.Strip down and forced to play by console rules. That is so most people won't mess up their toy.
Those who know anything about electronics will understand what's under the hood of the box and could make changes if they so wish. But why, I wouldn't know. It would just be better to buy a real PC which can be upgraded or even build one yourself.

Inter-gaming platform was a particular goal at one point.

Why not have Xbox gamers playing with PC gamers.

Why not have PS3 players playing with SOE PC gamers.

However....there is the problem of dividing the money...and when money is involved...it's always that same old story of mine...mine...mine....
