Skyrim DLC glitched + missing textures

I recently bought Skyrim Legendary Edition and downloaded a few mods for it via NMM. I also instaled SKSE. Everything was running smoothly until I wanted to start the Dawnguard dlc.

I was supposed to get info about the downguard from random guard in Skyrim and while the dialog telling me about it triggered, no new quest appeared for me. I figured it must be some kind of bug so I just found the place where the Dawnguard Fort was supposed to be. However when I entered the valley all I saw was some guy who wanted to join Dawnguards, two Dawnguard soldiers (texture of armors were missing), and door (only a door, other textures were nonexistent) leading to the fort. When I entered most of the textures inside were also missing and I ended up endlessly falling into the void.

Did anyone else had this problem and possibly solved it? Because as of now the dlc is downright unplayable :(

Sounds like a mod conflict, or load order issue. Latter can be fixed by running BOSS. First one would be more trickier, because you need to make sure that mods you downloaded are compatible with each other.

Many major mods have specific optional patches for the DLC, ensure you have those and check the order you're loading everything. Other than that you can't expect us to troubleshoot a specific list of unknown mods you're running.

Is that your load order too? If it is I hope BOSS fixes that for you because the Unofficial patches need to be right after the ESM files they are tied too. It should look more like this after you run BOSS.

Yes it seems that BOSS did that. However, after running BOSS returns an error "Error: Dawnguard.esm is not present or is not active. Skyrim will CTD when loading if using this file without Dawnguard (Official Bethesda DLC). "

It's odd, because I didn't delete anything or messed with files in any way other than just installing SKSE

WARZONES - Civil Unrest

I hear WARZONES is unsupported, dated, and can kill your save-files.
[check out the mod page on the Nexus, user comments section].

Might be best to uninstall that mod and start over.

Yes it is. However it doesn't fix the "Dawnguard.esm is not present or is not active." in boss.

Where do you actually get that message? Is it listed under the Dawnguard.esm or the Unofficial Patch?

To be honest, I don't see how BOSS is spitting this error out if you actually have the proper esm listed and checked in your load order. I know this sounds stupidly obvious, but are you absolutely sure Dawnguard.esm is actually installed, listed, checked?

The only record of people getting that message are people who installed the Unnofficial Dawnguard patch without Dawnguard actually being owned/loaded in.

Have you verified your Skyrim cache, maybe your Dawngaurd DLC is missing some important file or something.

since you are using NMM its easy to check if mods are installed or not. Just look in Plugins.

That is how the loadorder should be
The Dawnguard files are:
Dawnguard.esm
Dawnguard.bsa

Also you could try using LOOT instead of BOSS. (Same guys, LOOT is taking over for BOSS)

Thank you all for your help. It's weird but I unchecked and checked all mods again in loader and everything worked fine. Thanks again for your help
