Speaking With Silence is a Thieves Guild quest and starting it is the only way to gain access to Snow Veil Sanctum.

You can always use the console ... However if you decide that you want to also want to use tcl, because in the last room is a scripted event (after the dragonclaw door) ... If you don't use that you'll get stuck.
*do stuff like this at your own risk, but I've never noticed any particular issues from simply adding a single item or perk, haven't tried it with shouts but I'm not aware of it causing any great problems, but it's probably worth looking it up to be sure.
BTW Throwing away good weapon isn't sacrifice at all for me. Most of my weaps on racks in all 3 houses are good. I have so much of it I can't sell it (same with armors, f.e. noone can pay full price for upgraded Daedra armor as it is worth over 4k or sth). Funny thing is that same time I have so little money I couldn't buy last house even if Jarl of Solitude would allow me :).
BTW2 How to easily find dragon with soul? I miss 2 souls to unlock all shouts of main plot and I will still need several for DB/DG ones.
Yeah, I hate joining the TG, even on thief characters I feel bad about the first two things you have to do to become a full member (though my characters don't necessarily care...) Know what you mean about having ridiculous amounts of great weapons, too...
I think most people find dragons tend to spawn more frequently if you fast travel a lot, there are also particular places that seem to be especially good for dragon spawns, like I usually get attacked by a dragon when I go to the area just near the... Honey something Meadery, near Whiterun, where the bridges are. I also seem to get a lot in the College courtyard (which is qutie a nice place to fight them as there are lots of columns to duck behind... They also spawn much more frequently after you go to Kynesgrove, I think, and then I think after you complete the main quest, this reduces again.
There are certain locations where you can pretty much guarantee there will be a dragon after a set number of days (good for bones/scales) BUT as you may have discovered, only the first dragon has a soul (this actually makes no sense because it's explicitly stated in game that taking a dragon's soul is the only way to truly kill it, yet these dragons come back after you kill them and take their soul!)
|About soul stealing: that's one of things why people in Skyrim needed Dragonborn for. They can shout, but this is what greybeards and Ulfrick can to. But Dragonborns are only ones who can kill dragon for good. Untill soul taken any dragon can rise himself after "Death". Without they rise too, but it's only for player to be able to do more dragonbone/dragonscales stuff (quite nice as I personally prefer dragonbone armor instead of Daedra, which is better but to evil-lokoking for hero of legends).
