Skyrim dawnguard: Get Valerica home

I fnishied Dawnguard once again and want to bring valerica back to tamriel since only then the serana marry mod will work. now i have the problem that no matter how long i wait, valerica wont leave the soul cairn. is there a console command taht forces her to leave? when i port her to me she wents right back into the soul cairn...

Once you kill Harkon, you should be able to go see her and tell Harkon is dead and she should go home to the castle

Thats the whole point of this post. She SHOULD but she doesnt.

Try this, go back to her and make a save, then load that save. If that doesn't work- VERIFY INTEGRITY of GAME CACHE

For me I just came back to Valerica's lab and POOF she spawned next to me saying that she had just added some plants in her garden. lol She's fast tho. So maybe that's the problem, leave the soul cairn and see if she appears in her lab.

i left like a hundred times and came back an waited weeks for something to happen. it worked with an old character but not with this one. are you sure there isnt a command that triggers the script?

The questions here are...do you have any mods which alters the Castle Volkihar in any way? Perhaps the issue comes from it. Or something is missing here. Did you complete the whole Kindred Judgement with all dialogues and the completed title above? Not just killed Harkon and then runs to Valerica, right?

...then she's glitched...play a previous save.

i did it all, even cureing serana. and yes, i use castle volkihar redux, but the mod author says the mod doesnt cause this problem and its a known vanilla dawnguard bug, disabling the mod didnt help at all. unfortunately i dont have a save that far back.

You said it all, a known vanilla bug. Have you installed the Unofficial Dawnguard patch?

And no, you don't need to cure Serana or yourself to have Valerica back.

the command "set DLC1VQ05PostMove to 2" triggered the script and now shes there and the marry dialogue option too.

Im afraid i dont know. I quit playing skyrim quite some time ago so i cant test it, but do you wear an amulet of mara and spoke to the priest in riften?
