Ran into A Glitch Leveling Restoration

I am near Hitting Level 75 with one achievement to get "Legendary Dragon" So I am leveling everything that is not at 100 .. I went to the Whiterun Priestess of Kwynereth as I can pay for lessons once each Level to up my Restoratin which is at 84. She indeed gave me the lessons, I could pay for them and receive them to Restoration Level 89 but my Overall Leveling did not increase at all.

Thus I went To Vilkas to up my Two Handed weapon and paid for 5 lessons and not only did my skill for Two Handed weaponry went up but also my Overall Leveling increased with this.

Now I downloaded a guard speech mod yesterday .. got tired of hearing the same old thing .. and the priestess did indeed acknowledge me in speech anew. Vilkas however did not change his speech in any manor.

Has anyone run across this leveling problem?

Also I did check the legendary thread but it is so packed I could not find my answer .. Having Legendary if my Smithing is at 100 and I set it to legendary will I still be able to make Dragon equipment or will have to put those same perks right back into smithing to do so?

I am seriously trying to get to 78 here to complete my final achievment ..

equilibrium in one hand, and restoration in the other hand. Cast equilibrium, then restoration once your health drops 80%. Faster if you have blessing from Mage Stone, plus 8 hours of sleep will give you Well-Rested buff for a total of learn skills 30% faster

If you have it the Aetherial Crown from Dawnguard as you can also use two standing stone blessings.

I do have that Crown and forgot completely about it ... stored it in my safe .. (palm to forehead here) Thank you so much for reminding me.

Wear Miraak's robes, gloves and boots. all3 together will give you 25% Dragon Breath resist or something like that. when you go after that Legendary dragon.

Thank You Trigger .. I would have forgotton about that one too .. I took down a revered dragon in legendary mode .. but I had help around me at the time .. and it was still an epic battle.

Restoration already at 93 and leveled up to 75 .. The Help is great .. Thanks everyone.

Try this TELEKINESIS in any hand, drop a dragonbone on the ground, now use Telekinesis to pick up the Dragonbone-NOW fast travel somewhere far. When you arrive stop casting telekinesis and see how high your Alteration rose, plus how many times you can level up.

I have maxed out restoration thank you .. I only have 2 handed weapon, 1 handed weapon, alchemy, destruction and pickpocket left to max and level up ... I am 80% there to level 76 .. I want this dragon today lol
