Golden claw side quest - burrow puzzle
K im doing a side quest in skyrim called golden claw, i killed the big spider then cut the fella down but killed him in the process, eventually u have to kill him anyway, grabbed the claw, then moved on down the path, im sposed to come to a 2nd puzzle room where i put bear n 2 others in the right place, but can seem to find it im running back n forth from the spider room,to the water pathway end leading outside quickly dashing thru the swing blades on my way only getting sliced minimazl dmg each, but not able to find this room im sposed to use the claw for this room so a google seRCHed walkthrough says, anyone know where im missing it ? or not event getting to it yet ?? thx in advance

For future puzzles go into your inventory, view the claw, rotate until you can see the palm, zoom in, the rest is self explanatory.

You know, my first game, I played the whole main quest without realizing that there were symbols on those claws. I was just trying random combinations on those door locks until they opened. *facedesk*

Outstanding effort and a testament to ''I am getting through this MOFO door'' attitude.

Have a cookie :roar:

Me too, I never look at items in the inventory in detail so I never noticed the symols on the claw itself

the amount of times I've had to resort to looking at a Wiki to solve the puzzle only to have a "DOH!" moment later, you wouldn't believe

Thank you for my morning LOL.

Oh people, somewhere in this is a Skyrim public service announcement for reading. :)

But let me guess, all of you collect the books, right?

I have collected a large library, thinking that my character will someday sit down and read them all.

But it's not this day.

That's right. You've got dragons to slay, draugr to kill, pockets to pick, and vampires to blame for it, there is no time sit like a little baby milk drinker and READ! *insert some sort of very manly battlecry here*

Seriously, there is NOWHERE that says, ''press C to zoom in on inventory item.'' What a ♥♥♥♥ design. You know, I absolutely love the level of achievement in game design of today, Skyrim for eg...but I can't understand the retarded mentallity of some devs...I really can't. There was Morrowind...poor bastards didn't have the dynamic software and coding we have today...if only...

*eyes look up to distant imagination land*

Sadly, I am the person who planted my bony Nord ass down and read all the volumes of The Real Barenziah to see if they'd put the more...colorful stuff back in (plus it's a fine read) but can't look at the mothereffing CLAW in my HAND?

(maybe if someone hinted there were dirty pictograms on it.)

I'm not 100% sure about this, but i have noticed the clues for claws on the walls in some of the halls of stories, paths leading to the doors for the claws..
