nexus paid membership worth it?

Everyone directed me to the nexus site in my last thread to get NMM and some mods. I haven't used that site for a while and there are several new membership options that require some fees. Should I get one or just be a free user? If yes, which one is worthy? By the way, the premium membership says it has uncapped downloads, so a free user has a download cap?

Just get the free membership. There is no huge, direct difference between the two. Free user is capped, but the download rate should be good enough you shouldn't even have to worry about it.

Free caps download speed to 1 Mb/s, I believe. Only a problem if you have a download speed higher than that, which if you're downloading mods like New Vegas' Project Brazil, is something to look for.

Nah, unless you download very large files indeed.

I expect they'll severely limit free accounts (limit filesize, make you wait for your download) someday and try to push people onto paid accounts. But for now its fine.

I felt that as many Mods as I was downloaded I needed to pay them for the service. It is just me but you are getting a lot from Nexus.

Everybody needs to make a buck. If you have the coin you may support their efforts, get access to d/ls without queuing, faster dls and technical support. I, ah, don't have a membership but it is on my "to do" list.
