What's the level cap without DLCs?
So, I'm stuck in level 53 and can't level more. I wanna know if its some kind of bug/glitch. Thanks.

There isn't exactly a level cap, but characters stop developing around 50-81. Latter number would be the maximum level, with all skills developed to their maximum levels. If your active skills are all in 100, and you are not developing other skills, then 53 is the stop sign for you.
Most of my characters max out well beneath the level cap. No biggie.

It used to be 81 - with all skills at 100.

I was trying to develop sneaking, lockpiking, block and archery, but my character don't go beyond 53 no matter what I do. Is there some console comand to "unlock" this? Oh, and sorry about my english. lol.

If your skills are at 100, then they can't go any higher [unless you do a "Legendary" on them to reset them back to 15].

I have only one-handed and heavy armor in 100, the others are between 60~80. I'm going to try a "forced" level up lockpiking something. Maybe its some glitch...

Its not a glitch - you will only reach level 81 when *all* your skills - ALL of them are at 100.

You can now get past 81 by resetting a specific skill tree back to 15 and leveling it up again.

Hm. I understand. I reach level 54 by "forcing" a lock.
Thank you, guys.

I think the levelling slows down quite a lot the higher your level is (so at early levels you only need a few skill increases to get to the next level, whereas later on you need more) although I could be wrong.

ALso, the DLC raising lvel caps is more of a "Fallout" thing than a Skyrim thing

You do know that's cheating, don't you?

It's his game. If he's blocked from levelling because of a poor understanding of the mechanics at play, he's entirely within his right to cheese his way past that.

I'd sing a different tune if this were a multiplayer game, of course.
I'm level 63 and have Legendary Sneak + 100, Lockpick- 100, BlackSmith- 100. Just reached
Pickpocket- 100, Alchemy- 100 and very near level 64. I'd say just keep playing and using
your other skills!
I'm playing the base "vanilla" game, no mods or DLC.

It takes you levelling up your character to level 252, in order to have all 18 skill trees at 100, and can be achieved by making a skill tree at 100 into a legendary one, you get your perks back from that tree and then you can level up that skill tree again, to gain back the abilities of that tree.
