anyone know what sword goes into stone? Need help please.

Reading The Legend of Red Eagle[www.uesp.net] should help you with that - it starts a quest which leads you straight to it.

There is one in Whiterun. In the main castle, if you go into the room to the left of the enchanting table and read all the books you will get more than one quest.
