HELP: how to kill frost giant

these are the toughest enemies ever!! came up against one that i have to defeat as i cant take a differnet path, how do u kill them? tried fireballs which is quit effective but its slow and u end up getting hit with its club. im lvl 29 one handed skill is 75 and armor is 60 abouts. its the frost giant in the inner sanctum area on the auriels bow quest.

Blimey, I obviously didn't explore the Forbidden Vale enough, didn't meet a single one of them. I'd say fire and ranged stuff - exploding fire bolts in a crossbow, fire enchanted bow, or firebolts.

yea frost giants are tough, one swing and youre dead. i just sneak around them lol. unless im really high level and know i can take them. ive lost a few followers to them too.

Fire - ranged works really well, especially if your sneak skill is high.

My vampire was way too squishy for that nonsense! And I think when I played as a Dawnguard I got sidetracked and restarted before I got as far as the FV.

They are well worth the effort to kill, the loot is good, and leads to more loot. I assume your refering to the ones in Forgotten Vale..

did u try shock magic?
or a weapon with add shock damage

i find that shock is good for most magic badguys

Wow..really? The one I ran into in forgotten(forbidden?) vale....I single-shotted him from stealth with a bow..and it only has the draw speed and soul trap enchantment on it. Not bragging mind you...just surprised I took him out if he's that tough...
