How can I further reduce lag?

I turned off anti aliasing but still feel a little choppy. What other video settings would affect lag?

It depends on what's the cause of it in a way. Try turning shadows down a notch.

If its memory loading lag, try lower view distance or try turning LoD OFF.

The Nexus link has links to the dev's page. Get it there. It's a simple install of copying and pasting the necessary .dll files. If you have any other mods that also use those .dlls, the fix is pretty simple.

I just installed it today and I'm in love with the thing... My game's performance has noticeably increased. The "mod" works by simple framerate reduction when you don't need high framerates. It's a simple idea, but it makes a huge difference.

Alright, so i tuned down my shadows along with a few other things, but I'm still lagging quite a bit. As for memory, that shouldn't be a problem as I just upgraded to Win 7 and had to wipe my hard drive.

Reduce the distance, gras, objects ect, that sucks up alot.

That actually helped a lot! I'm no longer choppy and could even raise a few other video options to high now. My only remaining issue is screen tearing. What affects that?

V-sync is the option you'd need to enable, but it'll eat up your performance.
