Kill or Spare Cicero?
It's one of those Dark Brotherhood quests. Am I going to miss something if I let Cicero live?

If you kill em', that is a follower you can't have in the future..

Makes no difference to gameplay apart from a spare follower. Up to you.

If its a follower thingy then I am glad to have killed him. Pretty much all the followers in Skyrim are braindead

Too bad, Cicero was a special follower who dances randomly and tells jokes. But it was your choice.

During my earlier play throughs I always let him live. Didn't think about him as being a potential follower, just that my concious wouldn't let me. (even though it is only a game). I had trouble killing Sindig the wearwolf. So I tried it both ways. If I let him live then I had to kill many innocents. If I killed him, then he was the only casualty. I am glad my concious still works even when I am playing violent (but very much enjoyable) games.

You are an evil assassin who gets his jollies by killing people. Why would you spare him?

Because Cicero is an evil assassin who gets his jollies by killing people.
And poor Cicero is so, so lonely... and delightfully insane.

Edit: Oh, I thought we were still talking about Cirero. Silly old me.

Because he didn't realy wnat to be an evil werewolf and be a killer. Human self didn't want to kill, only his werewolf side had a need and he couldn't control it. Plus I didn't know I would have to kill all the hunters if I let him live. Of course I killed him and kept that save and continued from there.

Oh yes, I understand that. Understand completely. But if you're playing in character, an assassin should have no remorse, no compassion. You spare him only because you find him amusing, or seek personal gain from it, or because you've already sided with him over Astrid, or because whispers in your head... The point is, you should already know the answer before you ever leave the Falkreath sanctuary.

i always killed him, but then i always forget the need of a follower for Boethiah's quest, and i don't really want to kill any of the other followers (even though i don't use them). Cicero seems destined to die one way or another, so i decided from then on i'd use him as my sacrifice XD

I hate him, so I leave him alive to get the Ebony Mail from the Boethiah's Calling quest, just giving him a little longer time to live

If you kill him, who will take care of the Night Mother? You know, CARE for her?
