Hehe, really man? Just go to your controls to see what it is. Pretty sure the defult is "x". I remapped mine to shift because i sprint a lot.

Alt, but sometimes you have to have caps on or off to get it to work.

Nope, shift is to toggle walk/run, not sprint.

i play with a controller, but got stuck playing Skyrim for a day with a mouse and keyboard

Same, I swapped to controller as I felt a bit lost on the keyboard/mouse combo.. while I used to play Oblivion all the time with keyboard I just forgot all the keys, unless they swapped a few for Skyrim.
