skyrim data files greyed out

hey ive got skyrim but data files are greyed out ive tryed everything but it wont work.
the problem is that the things in the ini files are missing:
[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=2

So can some one help me

bEnableFileSelection=1

is skyrimpref.ini

make sure you edit the one in Documents\my games\Skyrim the one in the steam folder isn't the one you want to edit.

verify integrity of game cache

you should have a SkyrimPref.ini in Documents\My Games\Skyrim

it goes right above bShowAllResolutions=0 in that file.

edit that one and Ignore Trigger you need the file that is generated when you play the game for the first time.

[Incunabulum]

Simply delete your Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini and run the game - new one's will be created.

Then you'll have to manualy add in any tweaks you had before.

You don't have to delete anything. Just follow the advice given in the linked thread.
