how to delete skill points

so i cheated a "bit" in skyrim and now i have 16 skill points, but i don't want to remove the fun from the game so i want to know, is there anyway to delete perk points with console command?

i believe you can input the same code you used to add perk points, but rather than adding a positive value, put in a negative value (like say -6) to remove any available perk points you have. but this is just a hypothesis, and got no clue if it'll work

When it comes down to it, 16 skill points isn't that much, so if you can't find a way to negate them, you could just keep playing since it won't really change anything. But if you don't, can just as easily start over and you'll get those 16 skill points back in no time.
