Need help picking who to marry!
I wanna get married but I don't know who's the best choice. Can someone please tell me who's the best man and top 5ish women to marry? I'm think Ysolda.

Here's abit about my character. I'm a Redguard ranger. I use shortbows aswell as sword and board. I'm also spec heavly into stealth.

Ysolda is kind of the obvious choice for a homemaker type. If you want to adventure with your wife I think you can marry your house carls.

It depends what you want a Wife who says hi honey can I make you a meal once a day?
Some one who you want to be at your side fighting against all?
Some one who is a trader and can earn extra money for you and stay at home and build your house and furnish it?

The more you think about who it should be the more time you should take to work it out or you'll be bored with your partner within 3 days and be looking for the next. I'd even suggest you google best partner to marry in Skyrim and look at mods. There are loads of Brilliant partners with lots of additional quests that make it a challenge and Fun.
Also look at "Interesting Npcs mod" massive improvement to skyrim with loads of extra characters.

I want someone that stays at home and it a trader. That's why I was thinking Ysolda. Oh and I don't want to mod for a spouce.

After downloading a mod (the face lift one) Mjoll seemed my best option. Then i listened to her voice with the english dub and...omg.

One of my playthroughs I Married Carlotta Valentia as she is cute is a trader will give you 100-150 per day as your take of her sales. Will move away from riverwood anywhere you want to go. Isn't involved any quests after the golden claw. She looks quite good in a tavern outfit with Jewelery and makeup and doesn't have an annoying voice!
I still suggest you actually spend a lot of time talking and interacting with who ever you decide! Because marriage in Skyrim is for Life!

I think you meant Camilla not Carlotta.
Ysolda's cuter imo.

Yes you are correct Camilla Valerius is who I meant the woman in the three way love triangle! I decided that neither of the two prospective suitors were deserving and told her about both ... then did the proposal and swept her of her feet.
Yep you should always go with whoever is going to be "the one!"
Camilla wears too much make up! I prefer Ysolda the tree sap dealer.

I have married many women trying to find out who I like best. I always come back to Gilfre. I have married Ysolda and something about her put me off. Gilfre owns Mixwater Mill so if you are building the Hearthfire houses you can buy sawn logs 24/7 from the comfort of your home. She opens her own store and starts with around 1200 Gold, as your speech increases her availabe gold also increases and she happily gives you your share, Temba Wide Arm from Iverstead not so much. She is happy wherever you live, Senna from thr Temple of Dibella says: "I've seen bigger houses..." and we were living in Solitude, Proudspire manor rivals some Jarls' houses, Plus Senna complains about every place, theives in Riften, Bears/ spiders/ giants in the Hearthfire hoses, In Markarth she might fall and break her neck...no such luck. Gilfre is happy wherever she is with you. Gilfre almost always greets you with: "Hello, my love, back from some adventure I bet." Unlike Camilla who always says: "We're so glad to have the claw back where it belongs." even after you steal it for your collection. Gilfre does keep it real though. You can enter wearing the robes of the Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold and her greeting might be: "Here for work? Get an axe and bring me all the wood you can chop." Also, as with most female spouses, put her in Tavern Clothes and she is not hard on the eys. She is strong, independant and loving. The only negative I've found about marrying Gilfre is once you're married everything in her house stays hers, you have to "steal" it.

Edit: If you marry Mjoll and move to your house she brings her boyfreind, Aerin, with her. As for Camilla, I returned to Breezehome after marrying her and who do I see coming down the steps from the top floor, where only the bedroom is located, Faendal.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Shahvee! My character married her for no other reason than she always had a good attitude. I'm pretty sure she drinks. But she's a happy drunk!

If you marry Camilla, make sure you've got the Unofficial Patch installed. Else you may have Sven and/or Faendal hanging out at your house trying to make time with your wife.
Eternie Aug 10, 2015 @ 1:59am
I also had Faendal drop in to pay Camilla a visit as I returned to Breezehome ... So I took him as a follower and equipped him with only a sword and let him take on several dragons leaving it in the hands of the gods if he survived. So that he would need to earn the right to visit the dragonborn's wife!
In subsequent playthoughs I upgraded to other wives a special one was Serana from Dawnguard although the marriage dialogue had to be treated carefully and needed a mod available at nexus or the workshop with an additional mod to allow her to live in any Hearthfire house with you.

get an Orc warrior wife
they are strong capable fighters , they know how to prepare a mean boar / deer steaks
and you don't have to heal her all the time in fight or give her healing potions
"real Orc women lets her wounds heal naturaly"

totaly worth it !
