Ah, ok.
It's not just quest directions; I rely on online guides for a lot of things.
Also, as a dual wielder, it is really cumbersome to switch from spell mode to DW.
I've been doing this from day 1. It fixes the double cursor problem and reduces the frequency of crashes; but it does not completely eliminate crashes. (So instead of crashing every 2 alt-tabs, I ceash every 4-5.) Lots of folks seem to report the same experience.

As additional bonus, this mod also includes dynamic process priority for Skyrim.
Thanks; what's dynamic process priority? I am really un-versed with computers :)
Dynamic processing releases and reserves resources, when the program needs them, according to priority in schedule. In this case Skyrim will gain higher priority than some other resource heavy background applications and gains higher priority for your computer resources.
Dynamic processing is usually considered as good thing for games, because background programs are often draining resources from them. It can be a bad thing for other types of programs, starving resources and preventing required background programs from running.
Skyrim is not so hungry that it would starve resources from any computer that meets the requirements. Thus having dynamic process priority just means that background programs cause less problems for it.
Wikias in general are inferior to non-Wikia wikis, in my experience. Plus, the ads are horrible on Wikia pages.

Like if you go to the page http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Volunruud and click on "view on map", it opens up this: http://srmap.uesp.net/?centeron=Volunruud
