Marriage option completely gone
So, like, I updated to Windows 10 and had all my subscribed mods reset and one of the mods had a follower I was married to. So I browsed the internet and did the commands for adding her to the faction and setting the relationship rank (and resetting the marriage quest). The thing is now everyone (including her) who has the option for marriage gives me the dialogue "Oh an Amulet of Mara" thing but the option "Interested in me, aren't you?" is probably gone from the game. Can I fix this somehow?

Trying to make sense of this but did you add yourself to the marriage faction by accident or something?

Does marriage work if you start a new game which hasn't had a bunch of mods 'reset' (I presume you mean they were unsubbed/deleted, vanished from your game, and you reinstalled them but didn't reload to a save where they were all present, or something like that?) and where you haven't messed around with the console? Have you tried going to a save with the mods still installed, now that they're reinstalled, and seeing if that's got everything back to normal? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, there, but it sounds as though your follower had been uninstalled and then reinstalled (unless I guess you redownloaded but it's a newer version and the new version can't simply be installed over the top of an old version or sthg like that?)

Easiest spouses to get to quickly to check would probably be Ysolda in Whiterun or that mill lady who will marry you after you chop some wood for her.
Ah, no I tried adding the follower to the faction

It still didn't work without the mods reset (I meant they were all back to their original spawnpoint if it was a weapon, spell book or follower). It's likely I mistyped or typed the wrong command in the console so there's that. Loading back to a past save worked and the follower is back at the house aswell as the other items that should be in there or my inventory so I'll probably play from this save onwards. Thanks a lot, though!

You actually can't propose to anybody untill you have asked Maramal about the marriage in skyrim, so if you haven't done then that's probably the problem.

Uh, yeah I did that before when I needed to marry the first time but either way they still gave me the dialogue so I don't need to do that again xD
