iNeed Not Working, not showing up in MCM Menu
I have SKSE. I have a ton of mods installed through the workshop and the Nexus.
iNeed worked fine and could be tweaked via MCM back when I got it on the workshop. When the creator removed it I got it from the Nexus. I have it enabled. I see "iNeed" on the mod configuration menu, but when I click it, it's blank.
Its effects do not appear to be working ingame.
Help?

First make sure that your load order is set up correctly.

Load order and resource priority basics
http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/523890681419356033/

Then go back in game and see if MCM appears correclty. If not:
- Open console
- setStage ski_ConfigManagerInstance 1 [ENTER]
- Close console.
- Wait for a moment for MCM to refresh itself.

If MCM does not appear correctly, then reinstall the mod.
After I did that it removed iNeed from the list, even though it appeared there before and is downloaded and enbaled on the Nexus.
Where do I go now?
Hell, does this mod even still work? I remember the creator was miffed when Paid Mods was removed

Mod works fine. I tested it some time ago, before moving back to Realistic Needs and Diseases. I am kind of stuck with that.

Isoku is still modding. He has slowed down a bit, due to amount of time modding has taken from him, but he is still active and doing updates.

If this isn't a load order issue and that console command did not refresh the MCM, then something is either missing or interfering with the mod.

What tool you are using to mod the game? NMM or MO?
Is your SKSE up to date? SkyUI 5 requires version 1.7.3
SKSE up to date. Using NMM. I'll have to check SkyUI... could that not being up to date be causing this problem?

iNeed was made to support much older version of SkyUI and works well with 4.1, so I doubt that is the case. I was more interested if old SKSE would interfere with new SkyUI and leave MCM open. This is not likely, if you already had SKSE 1.7.3 and had not moved to SkyUI 5.

Hmm... I am honestly a bit of a loss here. I don't know what else would interfere with iNeed. Mod does not change vanilla records, so something in your game is likely causing a problem.

I am not iNeed expert either. I have tested it few times, but always went back to RND. You could share your load order here, so peoples with more knowledge about it can take a look at it, or ask help directly from iNeed support forum.

I asked about MO, because seeing what would interfere with iNeed resources would have been really easy with it. NMM requires more detective work.

Edit: Typo.

Jumping in because I use iNeed regularly as apart of my game and even a majority of my testing saves as well.

The mod works fine, and the author may have been dissapointed when paid mods were removed, but he has since released the updates for free with additional performance updates since then as well, so the mod isn't the issue here.
It also works fine with either 4.1 of SkyUI or 5.0, and the same it works fine with any version of SKSE from 1.7.1 up.

Make sure you are using the latest version of iNeed and check and see if it shows up properly on a brand new game. Not an existing save file, not even a save that hasn't had mods before, brand new from the menu.
If it shows up then then you can say that the mod copy you have is fine, its something in your save file or your system.

I would also strongly suggest posting the rest of your load order here as well.
Thanks for the help so far, guys. I moved iNeed up in my load order but now it just does not pop up in MCM at all after entering setStage ski_ConfigManagerInstance 1 in the console.

NEW ISSUE

The mod is functioning. I booted a new game and the iNeed menu IS in MCM and working.
I loaded my level 66 with 200 hours on his game, the mod works.
I wanted it for my new level 2 character. The mod's HUD is glitched out and NOT in the MCM menu.
This is just getting weird now.

There are plenty of mods there that I do not recognize. I tried to search all of them. Some of them seem to be very old?

One thing I did notice is that the load order was not sorted properly. LOOT would have placed High Res Texture packs to proper places, so it was not ran. That is the only thing that jumps out from this list.

I recommend running LOOT. It may not fix your problem, because there is a change that your saved game has bugged scripts conflicting there. Skyrim bakes script data to save files, so it is possible that it would be wisest to start a new game after running LOOT in any case. However, there is a change that proper load order will fix this for you.

As unrelated note: I also noticed that you have not installed Unofficial Skyrim patch + DLC patches. We have just had plenty of discussions about save bloat caused by bugged quests and uncleaned entries in vanilla game - as addition of other problems fixed in those patches. I strongly recommend installing all of them and running LOOT after that.

Did you read my second post? The mod is working, but it's not applying to the one save I would like it to for whatever reason. Any idea what that's about?
If not, I guess I'mma just have to restart :/

Yes, I read your reply. My suspicion was what I said: wrong load order may have bugged scripts for that save, where the MCM does not appear. Fixing the load order may or may not set scripts straight and allow it to appear there.

Wrong load order also risks bugging out new game, so it is worth of sorting out.

Well it has been a while since the last post.... but just in case some else has this problem, I have figured out what caused it.

Apparently if you open the MCM while iNeeds is installing it causes it to glitch. I was able to fix it by loading to a previous save, and waiting for the installation of the mod and menu to complete before opening the mod menu.

I did this, and I was able to edit the mod in the MCM, (I use NMM) and adjusted my settings. Upon exiting the sub-section of the MCM, I was unable to view the settings for iNeed. I was given the same issue as before, and the mod also has no influence over the game. (I waited several days w/o food or water in my inventory and suffered no effects).

Just to clarify, I had the mod installed, it did not work.
I saved my game and quit.
Then deleted the mod.
Then booted up again and saved.
Quit and reinstalled the mod.
Booted up save.
Waited for the notification in the top left that it finished.

And got the same issue as before.

I am running Sky UI and a bunch of other mods, but those dont seem to be the issue, as many other people have had this problem and are only sharing SkyUI with my modlist.

All my mods are up to date.

does this happen in a new game?
