Alchemy resources glow mod?
I've found mining nodes and unread books glow mods, but I couldn't find one for alchemy resources. Anyone know a mod of this nature?

i suspect that the problem with that idea is that it would be WAY too CPU intensive. There are gazillions of them scattered all over, so it would lag your PC out too much to map them all; the moving ones like dragonflies would be absolute murder to track! Even if you had a static display on the map, you'd need a filter by resource type, otherwise the map would be illegibly cluttered. What are you looking for ingredient-wise?

Ah, ok. What you say makes sense.

Pretty much any kind of alchemical ingredients - as I am using alchemy primarily as money maker and leveling mechanism early on.
this may seem counter-intuitive, then, but do the rounds of the alchemy shops buying all the giant's toes you can find. Clear caves in search of Blisterwort (and Fly Amanita, although i do have a mod that makes it VERY lucrative!). i seem to remember mention of a potion involving at least two of these things, if i recall, the potion is worth @ 1K and is an excellent vanilla way to improve your Alchemy skill

You can get a house built fairly early, level 9 or there abouts. Add a garden to it, then plant the few things that make the most. I prefer Falkreath Manor.

Only look at this if you are a min/maxer. I am not.

I was gobsmacked when I first read the OP. I immediately thought of glowing giant toes (still attached), all those glowing flowers preventing any sneaking at night, and shining animals running around.

Seriously, just pick up anything along the side of the road, check the streams for slaughterfish eggs, nordic barnacles in the ponds at the base of Dragonsreach and attached to shipwrecks.
You will find the Luna moths and Torchbugs at night. Mushrooms on trees and in caves.

Most holds have different species of flora, so you will need to travel around to get the different types,

You are better off getting blue flowers and blue butterfly wings rather than Giants Toe's, as Giant's Toe are quite hard to come by, blue flowers and butterflies are everywhere and the potion it gives you is one of the highest in the game.

A flora replacer might help, and there are replacer mushrooms and whatnot out there. They're usually a little more vibrant and stand out more against the drab Skyrim landscape.

A flora replacer? Is that a kind of mod or a particular mod name? Link? Thanks.

Just a type of mod that'd replace the various flowers of Skyrim with better textures, including lootable ingredients (deathbell, snowberries, mountain flowers, etc). A quick google should bring something up if you search with 'nexus' as well.
