Stalleo mission

I started the infiltration mission but somehow one of the bandits managed to come out of the castle and attacked us in the starting point. Stalleon died but I completed the mission anyway. Now the problem is this I cant talk to Stalleon to complete my mission because he is dead but the marker tells me to get to his body (meaning I should talk to him). Does he respawn after a while?

Stalleo is named NPC and those do not respawn in the game. When they are dead they are dead.

Well if it is lingering in your quest log you can look up the quest on internet and set the stage on completed by console ... no I wouldn't advice it however sometimes it's the only way. That is the reason why I use a mod that sets most named npc protected
