My general mage stat ratio is
Magicka:Health:Stamina
2:1:0
and getting to the Ebony Warrior will take awhile so keep that in mind. Also any mods?
Deadly mutilation, Increased arrow damage, Ultimate combat (on hardcore setting), Enemy Ai Overhaul-Revenge of the enemies, Fighting Fatigue, Extended Encounters, Loot and Degradation, Upgraded weapons and armours for enemies, Oragnized Bandits of skyrim, Ultimate Dragons.
Yikes!! You like living dangerously. For your stats, as mentioned above. 2 magica for every health. Never put anything in stamina. There is a mod that I highly recommend for Vanilla like spell playthrough. Awakened Magica. {LINK REMOVED}www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods63246/?
What this mod does is: The more Magica you have, the more powerful your spells become. Up to 2x power. But it also lowers magica cost for spells by school's perks. Novice perk lowers spell cost by 2.5%. Apprentice lowers cost by 5%. Up to Master which lowers cost of school spells by 12.5%. So level 50 char with 700 magica and appropriate perks could be casting double strength spells at 37.5% cost. If using master robes, then that school's spells would be cast at 15.5% cost. Almost free. But the strength of spells has to do with a combo of player level and amount of magica available. As you use spells, they get progressively weaker. Because you're using mana to cast, that lowers the amount you have.
The reason for this recommendation is, Skyrim seriously nerfs spell power. By level 50 any warrior or thief is doing way more dps than any mage could hope to match. Not to mention that any school's Master level spells are insanely high mana to cast. Okay, master level spells also take forever to charge. This mod does nothing about that, but it does do something about the cost of casting it. And with the boost in strength, it brings the dps back in line with high level warriors and thieves.
Not that I really care as a mod/custom armour using kind of person.
That's because if you're a melee character, you have to do things the MANLY WAY. Make your weapons and armour, MANLY WAY at the Skyforge with your shirt off under a thunderstorm. A master makes his own tools after all.
