Low res, pointless trees. (FIXED)
I gotta say, the mods I installed made my skyrim look beautiful. It's more than I'd ever want. The only problem is these random reaccuring trees that not only look like cardboard cut-outs made by 2 year olds, but they also do NOTHING. I can't click on them with the console, I move right through them, The navmesh goes right through them, because my followers can move through them, too. and the game acts like they aren't even there. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Use LOOT. http://loot.github.io/ Sort, apply, and post your load order. (three verticle dots, drop-down menu, copy and paste.) Maybe post a pic?
How do I send a picture over steam? I have two.

Man thats ugly :/ Did you uninstall a mod that had tree textures and meshes? Cause it looks like leftovers. ( pun intended.)
Uh, I did uninstall tamriel reloaded, but I thought that was just textures? Man, I don't typically care too much about texture quality, but this is a new low.

The look like distant LOD trees. My guess is that some texture files are messed up due to mods. Time to pull out LOOT and TES5Edit, although if your mods just dumped a bunch of loose file textures into your data directory, they aren't going to help.

It could be missing models, rather than textures - or perhaps both. The game might be showing the low LOD trees because it's got nothing to replace them with when you get closer.

Which fort is that? It might be handy to have someone else check to see if there are supposed to be trees there at all. It'd also be useful to know whether you can find any "proper" trees in the affected areas.

Could I fix this by installing tamriel reloaded? Because I really don't wanna use LOOT....

Why do you not want to use LOOT? (I am not sure it would help in this particular situation as most texture/mesh type mods don't have an .esp/.esm file and thus don't show up in your load order, but it's a very useful tool.)

LOOT won't "fix" your problem, LOOT only sorts your mods into the correct load order and warn you of mod problems such as incompatabilities. Reinstalling Tamriel may "fix" your game but if the mod is the wrong spot you will get a CTD at the Beth logo or during the game.
Okay, then. I'll try LOOT.

Which flora/tree overhaul is it? IIRC one of the ones I installed did that - some of the trees were LOD sprites rather than meshes. I think I just went with a different flora overhaul in the end. Unless you have done something mad with LOD distances?

I had tamriel reloaded installed. That's the only ESP mod I had at the time aside from patches, bug fixes, DLCs, and sofia. I solved the problem just by reinstalling Tamriel reloaded.
