Serana may have bad ID code
Been seeing issues in forum and with current issue in Broken oar, That Serana does not follow you out of the cave. Tried resurrecting and fast travel. Also dismissing does not work. she simply returns after exiting and turns invisible.

Also tried to port the npc to me with only a notice of invalid code. So i'm thinking that their must be an odd issue with Serana in caves and Her ID signature.

What command did you use to bring her to you? It should be something along the lines of

prid 03002B74
moveto player

(The first two digits may be different depending on your load order, but if you have all the DLC and all the unofficial patches it's likely to be 03 - you can double check by typing

help "bone hawk feathers"

or any other Dawnguard-specific item, NPC, etc into the console and taking note of the first two digits.)

Also, what does your load order look like, assuming you have modded your game, and have you done anything inadvisable like uninstall mods mid-game and keep playing with saves that had them installed?

Got the right code for her now. It only produces a non-interactive clone. The real Serana is still in the cave.

I had an issue with Broken Oar Grotto also, it happened with Arissa (companion mod), she wouldn't follow me out of the cave and just kept standing inside with her torch, where all my other companions did follow. Luckily the Arissa mod had a 'call to side' power so I managed to get her out, but the issue I think is with Broken Oar Grotto and its strange how same thing happened to you in same cave.

One way you could try is if you get her to say something to you and quickly go out of the cave in mid conversation she may appear outside with you still talking.

Did you use the commands I quoted? That pair of commands should not spawn a clone, the command that does that is player.placeatme

(If people are trying to help you, and ask specific questions like what command you used, it's useful and polite to actually answer those questions.)

Also, it might be simplest to reload to a save before you went in, leave her outside, and thenget her to follow you again when you've finished in there. Much better than messing about with the console, tbh, esp if you're not sure what you're doing.

I assume you're talking about
player.placeatme 00002B6C

While the correct code would be
prid 03002b74
moveto player

(as mentioned above)

You need the refID for the NPC, which you can see by clicking on them.

If she's still buggy then try ~disable, then ~enable after she's TP-d to you.
