In regards to updating mid playthrough:

Yes, it's always to safe to upgrade SkyUI.

You shouldn't downgrade again though, so it's always a good idea to keep an older savegame around in case you have to go back.

The question is: is it safe to upgrade.

Anyway, I wish they added a support so that we can mark items, for example: books so that we know which book we read because it automatically does it for you, even if you just open a book.

I know about Unread books glow, but that's not what I'm looking for really. It would be really cool if you could (yourself) somehow mark a particular book by a hotkey. I have 100+ books in my inventory and I read a good chunk of them so I don't usually know what books are left to be read as even if I open them, SkyUI recognizes them as read.

Theres several mods with the SkyTEST label, the most popular and well known one is SkyTEST realistic animals and predators which certainly doesnt have anything to do with books. You might want to be a bit more clear about WHICH one you mean

You'd be amazed the sort of things that mod's exist for. Next time you want something specific just make a thread and ask and I'm sure someone can come up with something and even if they can't, someone can probably explain why its not possible XD

Just downloaded SKSE 1.7.3 and added Ilja's EnableDiagnostics=1 to skse.ini. When I started game there was a small line on the top left hand of to enable save ctrl-F2; this line stayed after I started game. Is there any way to make line go away?
