Real Estate mod won't work

I can't buy houses or whatnot because there's no property signs to interact with. I'm done with everything to the point where the last quest is "Buy your first property". I also disabled the option where I must have the perks to be able to own properties.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Update: The mod does work now, except I can't buy anything in Whiterun for some reason. Whiterun is my favorite city so I really want to buy some properties there. Anyone know how to fix this?

I did not find any direct reply to this. Could this just be a load order issue? Have you sorted your load order with LOOT?

Hmm. Then I am sadly currently out of ideas. This is one of those mods I have never tested, so I can't really say what might be wrong with it.

Hopefully someone else can give a hand here. I will stay subscribed to this post, in case I find something, or someone else knows what may be going on.

Just reading from the support thread. Do you have both files active and have you tried to unselect the perk requirement from MCM? (NM, I am blind today.)

I might actually do a quick test myself, because I was planning on testing an update to another mod in my Test profile. I usually do so, before including large updates or new mods to my game.

Yes ive both files active and I already unselected the perk requirement from mcm

Okay. I will add it to my test profile, but I am still hoping that someone already using the mod would jump in.

Its open cities mod doesn't work with it for some dumb reason

Hey necro'd this thread, but on the SE nexus page there's a patch for Open Cities and RE- REC. Have RE first, then OC then the patch in that order. Little script lag, but it should work :)
