Problems with FNIS PCEA2 (Error 55) (SOLVED)
So I have reinstalled Skyrim and I am attempting to mod it and I am having problems with FNIS.

I am using Mod Organizer 2 and when I run FNIS generator tool (From the mod organizer of course) and generate, I get Error 55: Could not find a part of that path: *path here and file that doesn't exist in the PCEA2 folder*

I have already made it so that files generated/created from FNIS are sent into the FNIS mod folder instead of overwrite so that's not the issue. The issue seems that the tool is searching for files that don't, and as far I can tell, shouldn't exist.
Example:
..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS_PCEA2\fp20_dw1hm1hmblockbashpower.hkx'.

I checked the folder of FNIS_PCEA2 and there is only packs of other animation mods and that is how it should be, it shouldn't have these .hkx files directly in it.

I decided to try fixing it by just making a fake hkx file by just creating a text document, rename it to the file FNIS is looking for and change it's extension. It actually works but now it's looking for another file... I repeat the process, FNIS asks again, repeat again and it never seems to end, I have like 20 of them and they all start with fp20_ which I could not find anywhere in the files of the mod itself nor even on the internet. I gave up and realized even if I somehow create ALL the "missing" files, it probably will break it because these files are not real and basically empty so instead I am better off trying to find help here

I have heard that this can happen from the filepath lengh hitting it's limit but I have no idea how much further I can shorten it. I already renamed mod organizers folder to just MO, located in a single hard drive with nothing else and the mod folder itself to literally just the letter P and if I change anything inside the data folders, it would just cause the mod to obviously not work but I also don't know where the FNIS tool is exactly looking so I might have been making a wrong assumption here but considering that it is actually detecting those fake .hkx files when I make them, then it has to be there

I hope to god there are still users in this forum that can help

EDIT/SOLUTION: OH MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOD I FINALLY FOUND THE PROBLEM. Windows 10 Real Time Protection kept preventing FNIS from doing anything! I wish this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ program would actually tell me when it's doing that, for ♥♥♥♥♥ sakes

The problem might be that your path folder is too deep, maybe? FNIS comes pre-configured to look in a certain path, doesn´t like unexpected changes

F:\MO\MO\mods\P\Meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS_PCEA2

This is the file path that I am assuming is looking for. Is this really too deep for it to detect? What else is it looking for?

Can re-configuring that pre-configured path possibly fix this and is it possible in the first place?

EDIT: I have found the problem! Windows 10 Real Time Protection was interfering with FNIS. After disabling it, everything now works perfectly fine
