Mirai!
I downloaded the follower mod "Mirai" from Nexus. She's a really pretty young girl, and an awesome fighter. But the thing that impresses me the most is her personality.

When I bumped into her she said "Hey! Don't step on me!". And outside Bleak Falls Barrow, when I was looking down a cliff to see where the body of a bandit had fallen, she said "You're not afraid of heights, are you!"

She's not like an NPC, she's more like a real live person!

Lol, nice. Yea a lot of the NPC's in the vanilla game have some funny things to say in certain rare moments.

Like there's this old guy, he summons a familiar.. Belor? Balon? No that's ASoIaF...

Anyway, when you encounter a puzzle chamber sometimes he says, "When I was a boy we used to play 'find the wumpus'... it was a lot like this." or something similar. wtf is a wumpus?!

I'm not a big fan of a lot of follower mods these days, because most of em look like little kids or humans with giant elfish ears that stick out horribly, but it's nice to know there's some out there with personality. A lot of cutsom voiced followers sound weirdt o me, after so many hours of the normal voices, but she doesn't sound weird, so might have to check her out.

Heh heh! It was a monster in a game written in BASIC in the early 70's, called "Hunt the Wumpus". A few other games have included the Wumpus since then.

Definitely check her out. I think you'll like her. :)

I love Mirai but the mod is pretty buggy. She is currently hanging from the top of a ruin because no matter what I do, I can't get the story to progress. Sad, but she may be hanging there for a while. >.<

Orc is in the falkreath prison. And if mirai is shackled up, you need to get up to her through the inside of the building. You'll kill junan inside first and then when you come out the other door to the outside you will confront Zannen. I had the same problem as you when I tried to just climb up to her from outside

I think this mod is very buggy (I'm reading a lot bug reports from many users).
I just met her outside her house in Markarth. She told me to get to her an Orc (Junan) from Falkreath's jail...
...I went there, picklocked the jail cell door, the Orc left (and told me to meet him outside the city)... he wasn't anywhere outside, instead he... returned to the city (!), he went to hide to... Falkreath Jarl's Keep (!!!!!),... I went there, we spoke, he agreed to follow me to Markarth... we went outside Keep's door, he got scared from the guards and started running...
...BACK TO THE BARRACKS & JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going back to jail and HE'S NOT EVEN talking (the Orc) to me! I'm going to Mirai and "obviously" she's not talking to me, since I haven't Junan with me - the idiot gone back to jail!

So... what the hell is the damn solution to recruit this mage??????????????

I even tried to setstage to 40 (and move on with this quest), I'm going back to Mirai's house, she's outside, I'm talking to her... and... she reply WITH HER FATHER's VOICE & LINES (!!!!)... I setstage the quest to 100, the quest finished... went to Mirai... and don't even talking to me.

Okay... I give up!!! HUGE BUGGY mod!

Never tried Miria, but I've found Sofia to be at least tolerable. A lot of people also like Inigo and Ilja, plus they interact with each if both are installed. Tania... I had to give her the boot becuase she just kept piping up too often...

Dude, you can use the debugging book in Mirai's home to skip that part and continue afterwards. It will fix it.(We have the devs to thank for that in cases like yours which I think several people have encountered before, including myself. However, I had to install the updated version of Mirai to get it to work properly. I am aware you had written this three years ago so idk, you might have figured things out. Anyways, just in case, I am just putting this here if you were not able to figure out something.) Her debugging book is near her bed to the right side.
