How do you usually kill Rolff Stone Fist? (Mods or no)

I hated how he's essential and can't be killed, but I googled and found the perfect solution: with the console, I moved him to the middle of the fight during Battle for Windhelm, enter the commands to set aggression to max and friendship to archnemesis or whatever, remove his essential status, and watch with absolute glee as the Imperials cut him down on the spot for being a Stormcloak sympathizer. For all his trashy anti-Dunmer/anti-Argonian talk, he doesn't even put up a fight. Coward.

I know there's mods out there to do this, but I prefer doing it this way instead and justify it as Rolff joining his brother in the fray. o:

Yeah! I contemplated that, but it's not as satisfying as sticking a sword up his racist ass. The Windhelm battle (if it hasn't glitched on you) makes it VERY cathartic.

So far, poisoning. But if you do what I did and use the console to remove his essential status permanently then make him go into a frenzy, you watch the soldiers slowly chop him up until he's staggering in pain. Then you finish the job. That's what happened to me and it felt amazing <3
