Arniel's Endeavor Quest Bug

I was doing Arniel's Endeavor Quest when a bug popped up. I was able to use the first convector I came to and recieved the message about using the final convector, but when I put the Warped Soul Gem into it and use the special spell from Arniel, it doesn't do anything. Anyone know how to fix this. I look up the bug on the wikia guide on my phone and the command that was listed there for the console command didn't work. I am wondering if i input it wrong. I typed setstage MGRArniel103 20. I need some help please.

A bug in the game - this is fixed with the unofficial patches.

However, I think you added an extra 1 in there - it should be MGRArniel03 not MGRArniel103.

Or reload to an earlier stage. As the Wiki says, any time you get the message "Warpred Soul Gem.." rather than "Warped Soul Gem", that stage of the quest has gone belly up and you're stiffed for completing it.

Ok thank you for your help, I found I was using the wrong console command and went ahead and utilized the add item command and that worked for me. I put both Warped Soul gems in the convector and dual weilded Arniels spell and it worked. Thanx again for your help.

I am experienecing the same bug currently. One thing I noticed is the second part of the quest the 'Warped Soul gem' is spelled wrong. [place the warpred soul gem inside the convector]
This could be an indication as to why the quest doesn't recognize you placing the item inside the convector. The UI is looking for the item named 'warpred'. I will attempt the console command like so many others, but I hope the programers notice this tiny error and correct.
