Have a nice new necro for 2019, where the issue is still not fixed, nerd.
Who do you think is going to 'fix' the issue? Bethesda?
I love you too.
Can anybody come to the wedding?
"Version 1.9.32.0.8
Patch 1.9.32.0.8 was released as a Steam beta update on 19 March 2013 and was released to all PC users on 20 March 2013, nearly three weeks before the 1.9.31.0.8 patch for Xbox 360 and PS3."

Oldrim is no longer supported, and has not been for a while - speaking of changing anything in it is the equivalent of expecting the Ancient Egyptians to renovate the pyramids.
The best part is it isn't an issue. You cannot fast travel from inside cells, unless you use mods to enable it. Just because you can see the sky from the pit, it doesn't mean you're outside. You're in a cell. Leave it and you can fast travel, as long as you're not overloaded and there aren't enemies around. Stay in it and you can't. That's how the game works.
That said, the pit with the bodies is part of the exterior and can be fast travelled from. But the easiest fix is to go through the mine and back out the doors and fast travel from there.
It would make sense that if you fell into the pit and haven't cleared the dungeon, that you couldn't fast travel, because you're literally trapped in there.
