How long does it take you to beat the Main Questline?
Not rushing through it, paying attention to the dialogue, taking your time, etc.
Takes me about 8 hrs total (complete in two sittings)
Just curious.

Main Questline? What's that? :lunar2020gigglemonkey:

Seriously, my goals with this game are never about efficiency. In thousands of hours of play I've only completed the main quest twice at the end of 100+ playthroughs. Usually in a playthrough I'll putter around for 50-80 hours testing mods, then stop when the story I've created for my character gets stale.
No idea, I complete it after I complete the guild quests..... so I have no idea how long a dedicated main quest playing would take.

About 5-6 hours, I only take one detour, to get Werewolf before I start, Werewolf (without mods) falls off at later levels but if you're only doing the main quest you'll be relatively low level and it will be very strong.

You can also skip Skuldafn entirely, saving you some time, unless you care about Storm Call and a Dragon Claw, you can even skip the Fight with Nakhriin, but you will lose access to his mask as well.

If you don't really care about rewards you can skip some content, and werewolf moves quite fast.

what was your lvl when you finished the main story, pls?
I only beat it once, about 10 years ago, on my first character without mods, about 11 days after the game came out. Since then i have played over 30 characters with & without a combination of 80-120 varying mods and none of them did the main quest line.

Right now i'm playing a lv45 Argonian archmage with ordinator perks and apocalypse spells who's preparing a hearthfire home so he can marry a modded female argonian conjurer, just before joining the vampire clan to be a vampire lord of which i have more mods for vampires and extended vampire lord perk tree, ad i also plan on doing the tg & bb quest lines.

Ultimately Draken the argonian vampire lord arch mage nightingale listener will blot out the sun, summon an army of 12 master vampires and 6 nether lich's and 12-18 skeleton vanguard mages while riding an ethereal warhorse and destroying the world far more efficiently then alduin ever could.

8 hours you say? For me it's more like 8 weeks or 8 months (finishing the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC quest lines as well). It's a personal matter of what a player wants in the game, which is what makes it such a great game. Perhaps my approach could be called "going for the whole experience." It isn't that I discount efficiency-- I aim for it most of the time-- but I also try to avoid fast travel and I enjoy foraging for ingredients, including butterfly wings, along the way. I like timescale set at 3. It's a high priority to get a full-featured player home in (or near) every city, because they all get used regularly. Also one of my goals is to get filthy rich, which means improving, enchanting, and selling loot at every opportunity. Many players would find this the height of boring and prefer a play style full of combat, which I quite understand. To each his own.

Timescale should not be set below 6, as below that, the game begins to get out of whack and issues occur. For information on this, see:
