multiple Black Book abilities?
So like a moron, I noticed the 3 green orbs after getting my 4th book. I just thought they were visual effects up to this point. Can you have an ability from each book active? Really don't want to run the gauntlet for the first 3 again, but may if the power is worth it... thanks.

Not every book gives an ability. There are about 4 books that do that. You can check the Wiki which books and compare them to the ones you have.

Are you sure Grath? I've only got one of the six this time (so far) and I just tried it - Winds of change - and like I thought, I landed pretty near to the reward lectern. I seem to recall all six had rewards and that you landed pretty close to each. Mind you - I am going senile :P

There are a total of 7 books. I believe 2 of them are required for the Miraak quest. One will give you a vision, the other will allow you to convert your perkpoints back (after you have defeated Miraak)
I would have to look up in wiki what the exact choices for the other books are. If you already have completed any of the books quests, using them again should land you near a lecture where you can change the rewards.

That's cool, 7 huh? I forget how many I got last play and all I have to go on is 6 choices I made on a scrap of paper. I won't wiki it though, I'll just make a point of 'sweeping' Solstheim this time. For me the wiki is for when I get stuck. I still keep finding new things after all :P

So no one answered my root question... can I have an ability from more than one book or do I have to pick one from all of them?
Grathagis Jun 26, 2014 @ 1:27pm
sorry, was busy; each book give you 3 options. you can only pick one of them, but you can change tjhem by using the book again. on Solstheim

I know I can pick one from the three. The question is can I pick one from more than one book.
Grathagis Jun 26, 2014 @ 3:03pm
