vilkas died?

i asked vilkas to follow me to help in a quest(not a companion quest). but a witch killed him. i thought he would come back to life when i get back to the companions headquarter but i ddint found him. any help?

People don't come back to life. If he dies, he dies. You can load from an earlier save or use cheats to resurrect him maybe.

You let Vilkas die before you cured his lycanthropy?! That's rude.

Like lyssa said you couldve using the console cheat, "resurrect"to bring him back, or knowing that he dies, Go to an earlier save to before you go poking a witch !
@ mohawk , is it vilkas that get cured, i thiught it was the farkas after you do cure the leader ? just saying

Get back to the place he died, you may be lucky and find his body, then use the "resurrect" command. If you gave him a weapon or a piece of armor take it before you use the console.

Both Farkas and Vilkas ask you to cure them. The only Companion that doesn't want to get cured is Aela.

ahhh ok thx, stan, and yes vitamin I'd run real quick back to where he died like stania says , use the resurrect command if an earlier save didnt work for you

Is it going to effect the companions quest line?

Outdoor areas reset usually after 2 or 3 days ingame, sometimes faster.

If a character can get killed, it means thet they're not longer necessary for their faction questline. The only Companion that remains essential is Farkas.

How about an underground area where vilkas in my skyrim died?(a place that u have to go through a loading screen)

I forgot to mention something: If you go to the Hall of the Dead on Whiterun and find his urn or his coffin, you won't be able to resurrect him.

I didn't know that either! So, if you find a character's death shrine (urn, coffin, etc) that triggers their "perma death status" in the game? Good to know.

Except for finding that place early on, I never went back to it that I can remember. Going to have to pay more attention. Only need about 2000+ hrs to take everything in. Brb...

I still think if you go back to Vilkas and use resurrect 1 disable enable you'll have him back alive and kicking ! With the same attitude that you love or loathe!

I'd presume to add that his body wouldn't disappear for several days !
