Doesnt start=(
Hi everyone, can anybody help me. Recently bought and installed Skyrim. Download went fine. First of all didnt get a shortcut on my desktop (always get them), second trying to play it doesnt start. Everytime it says installing direct x then a window pops with options, i click play it dissapears and nothing. Uninstalled the game and downloaded it again, same thing. What should i do.

Use Steam to launch Skyrim, not desktop icon.

Steam library page/skyrim/properties/local files/verify cache (forget 1 file missing) press play for game, OK to settings the game will find (that 1 file missing) and play.
