Console Commands not working!
I have the legendary edition, so i am trying to obtain dragonbone arrows via console command. I did the id# which is player.additem xx0176f4 100000, and it didnt work! I tried weapons/armor that got included with the dlcs, such as the deathbrand armor, and it didnt work either. Regular base-weapons that were only part of the original skyrim worked. Help?

the xx in the id is a number based on the DLC's you have. you do not type it as XX
select an object whilst in the console and the first 2 numbers you have to substute

got it fixed. Extra question. I typed in "help dragonbone sword" and it gave me 4 ids to input. Tried all of them, it said on the top left hand corner of the screen "Dragonbone sword added" fpr all of them. i checked my inventory, and there are none.

when you type "help dragonbone sword" are the id's refering to weapons (WEAP) or to other things ?

its either 0200 // 0201 // 0202 // 0300 // 0301 // 0302 // 0400 // 0401 // 0402
use one of those at the begining of your code entry like player.additem 040176f4 1 is an example

the numbers don't mean anything to me. but if you use the help function you get a list.
the first word indicates what it is. (armor, cell, ingredient, NPC,etc). You can scroll up or down with the page-up and page-down key. You should look for a lien where the first word is WEAP (for weapon obviously) followed by a code consisting of 8 letters and numbers

well, i just went into skyrim and it appears you are right. I'll check the UESP-Wiki for an ID

On the Elder Scrolls wiki i found a code for a dragonbone sword : xx014fce. Haven't tried it out yet though.

one point is when you type asking help
Help "dragon bone" will work and if you try to give your self 100,000 arrows WHY???
Your using the console anyway you can give yourself more every other day!!
You'll never need more the 200 if you also give 2 to your followers

Why overload your inventory?
Why try to overload your game with ridiculous stuff !
It's your game feel free to do that and more but when your game goes unstable remember why it is!

If you like Bows just use the most powerful bow the Bound bow which gives limitless arrows!
good luck

Hey it does work count the number of DLCs you have, I have hearth, dragon, and dawn so it would be 03 for the xx. Its It's complicated but I did try 030176f1 1; Dragonbone Bow and it does give a bow.
