Normally i would say its a crafting mod conflict or a crappy mod but the fact you cant sit as well is disturbing. ive searched uesp and found zero for you. good luck ill keep looking but thats weird
Of course though it may just be an animation mod now that im somewhat awake
.
Sometimes using crafting stations doesn't work and instead just switches to third-person for a second, makes a clicking sound, but never actually allows the interaction. There are various fixes that may or may not work, including wielding/sheathing your weapon, changing equipped weapons/apparel, shouting, interacting with a station while it's in use by another, or any combination of these.

I'm not sure if you had those problems for the same reason tho.
I personally had the mod Alternate Actors installed (allows you to control npcs and animals) and after a couple of hours of poking around, looking for fixes, and doing the like, I ended up finding something out. The bug only was in my saves after I had controlled an ice wraith for a short time. I'm not sure if all animals cause it or just ice wraiths, but regardless the mod FAQ gave me the answer...
FIX:
The FAQ told me to try the command “player.tai” in the console, and sure enough that fixed everything! might as well give it a try!
IF THAT DOESN'T WORK:
I suggest your next step should be finding a save where you can sit or craft (getting the sit anywhere mod helps a lot, makes it so you can test for the bug anywhere ;) ), then trying to remember what happened between that save and the next. If you interacted with any mods, I'd check their page and see if it or anything related to it says anything about how to fix that issue. Good luck to anyone else suffering this problem!
You can go into third person view, then hit the "^" (top left key below the ESC) to get into the console mode-
Click on your character (and look to the right side of the screen to see if he/she is selected.
then type these two commands followed each by enter:
resurrect
enableplayercontrols
Finish by leaving the console mode via the key below the ESC key.
Should fix it. Probably a bugged mod is responsible for it, you might have to do it now and then when multiple scripts start running at the same time and messing around.
At least, that's how I remember it going down.
