Can't beat DawnGuard DLC Main quest because of bug.

After I returned Serana to Harkon, I accepted to become a vampire. After the lord vampire tutorial, I went to Garan Marethi to continue the "Bloodstone Chalice" quest.But for some reason, everyone in the castle, exsept Harkon, thinks I denied Harkon gift of his blood and becoming vampire, so I can't talk to him, which means I can't continue the quest. Does anyone know how to fix this? I do mod my game, but I have no mods that affect the Dawnguard DLC.

No, I do not use any unoffical Patches.

This is actually a bug, from what I understand. According to the wiki, just use the Vampire Lord power in front of them, and then change back and they should accept you as a fellow vampire. Hope this helps! :)

I tried that, but then everyone in the castle started to attack me.

I do mod my game, but I have no mods that affect the Dawnguard DLC.

Do you have any Vampire mods? Sometimes when a mod edits an important NPC [like harkon] incorrectly, it can break quests.

Same issue, the cause is your vampire lord form

Let me get the code to fix it

Type this into console, setstage 000EAFD5 10

This will cure your vampirism and then talk to Harkon he will turn you again, the bug is when you use vampire lord form. so you can't use it. Or you need to do the code again and have him re-bite you.

Weird bug, you have vampire magic and powers.

but you cant feed or talk to any of them lol.

Funny thing. As a mortal in their eyes, if you turn into vampire lord, they talk like you are one of them, change back into human form, they go back to hating you.

are you using a modded race?
because if you are then they wont see you as a vampire as there is no vampire form of the modded race wich would cause them to kind of not recognize you

Very old thread but I can confirm it wasn't a modded race for me. Was every race and gender.

Same happened to me very first time I played Dawnguard. Doesn't make any sense.
