How do I avoid those shouts of death?
I was recently in a tomb where I had to fight 3 unique draugr bosses, each taking turns. Once I got to this one, whenever he shouted at me, I died instantly, at full health. From what I could tell, I am pretty sure he was using Fus Roh Dah. I luckily was a high-leveled mage with wards, letting my two companions do the work which took a long time since his shouts killed them instantly as well.

Yeah, there's a way around those insta-kill shouts as a mage, but what could I do as a melee character without using spells?

Dodge? Hit him more often, and dodge?

I fought them recently. Annoying fight to be honest. They didn't kill me with their shouts, but they always threw me all over the place, and it took a while to finish the fight.

The Become Ethereal shout is my preferred tactic - bit cheap but it beats being a pool ball!

Or you could just install the realistic ragdoll physics so stuff (and people) stop doing that. :-P

dodge, move in and stagger him. perks, perks, perks place them properly and use them properly

I have a bow that is really deadly against undead, but it's too late since I beat him.

As far as I can see, just me getting hit with the shout makes me dead, not the whiplash from it.

You can hear when he's about to do it. So dodge it, then attack. Or you can just straight block it, with a shield. Hope it helped

put a finger over your mouth and shush him. tell him hes making enough noise to wake the dead

Gaulder brothers? If you're a mage I'm guessing you're squishy, thats just the way it is. Got blown around myself a few times but theres nothing like good set of armour for protection. And a good bow, pick 'em off before they get close enough to do much damage and much easier than chasing around trying to catch 'em with your sword.

These powerful powers are fine, but there were 4 of them. All had shouts, but 3 had one HP while one was the actual boss.

Ah, one of the Gauldurson brothers for sure, my guess is that it was Sigdis, with his delightful teleportation skills. Yep, IMO, he's the hardest of the three, and I tend to fight him the way he fights me, with a bow and shouts. If you back into a wall, he can't throw you nearly as far, also I tend to use columns to break his shout. A distraction follower is also great. That being said, glad you beat him.
