Mouse/Keyboard not working
Don't really want to bump up year+ old threads, especially since the solution in them didn't work.

Problem: Mouse and keyboard do not work in Skyrim. No workshop mods added; do have Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard. Only keys that work is alt+tab.

Tried solutions: Uninstall, redownload, reinstall. Change SkyrimPrefs (both in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Skyrim and C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\skyrim ), the bGamepadEnable=1 to bGamepadEnable=0 to disable.

I've never had a gamepad; don't even own one. The only things I have plugged in peripheral wise are of course the monitor, net cable, M510 mouse, and keyboard.

So what else can I try, besides going out to buy a controller?
