I fixed it by deleting the config files and rebooting ny PC.
I haven't fixed it yet. By the config files do you mean the two pref files in the my documents/my games/skyrim folder?
I tried what Vaemer-Riit suggested and deleted the SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini in Documents/My Games/Skyrim and then rebooted my computer. I can confirm that the fix works for this particular problem. Thanks Vaemer.
I'm a little confused at what you're saying as Watch Dogs isn't Bethesda, its Ubisoft. but your solution probably still works cause during my fix I still had to reboot, so thanks for the response
I always play 3-rd person character action games on controller and then first person stuff on M&K. It's a pain remembering to unplug my controller between games. More inconvenience than a problem.
Watch_Dogs (Ubisoft) causes errors in gamebryo engine games (Bethesda)
as I said I'm not sure if there is some issue with Watch_Dogs giving up control of the mouse when you close the program or something like that, which causes gamebryo engine games not to gain control of the mouse properly.
That makes pretty good sense. I never had this problem until I played Watch Dogs.
Am I missing something here?
