Greybeards keep attacking me.

When the Greybeards tell me to use my shout on them, they start attacking me. I can get past that part by using godmode. But when I shout on the targets, they wont stop trying to kill me. I can't find anything about it on the internet.

just as soon as i shout i get jumped and shouted into oblivion by the greybeards heard romours you can use setstage command to get past but I'm sure that isn't how the game is intended to be played.

If you have no mods and your DLC's are loaded in the order Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn then the Texture packs, then you should verify your game cache.

Yes but are they in the right order when the game was loaded?

Check Library>right click on Skyrom>Properties >DLC.

Should be in the order Dawnguard Hearthfire Dragonborn then the Texture packs.

Wrong the load order is not that list it is in the launcher under data files.

Try using a Pacify spell on them.

Pacify doesn't work on them, i had the same problem so i tried but it just says '(name) is too powerful to pacify'. So to fix this i just used the spell i got called harmony from a custom race i'm using.

happened to me just today...
resetai, recycleactor, sifh, setrelationshiprank, vanilla spells, joining their faction, nothink worked.
Somethink about the autosave upon entering hrotgar is wrong (having trouble loading it).
Found only one pure vanilla workaround so far:
RUN & hide
After each incident I ran outside and hid for some time. They eventualy calmed down and returned back to their positions.
Not sure why this happens but with my custom race and other 100+ mods I'm used to wierd stuff like this.

I had this happen too. I used RDO function to make them all allies before Arngeir starts to talk and asks me to shout at him.

Have to admit it was kinda funny this time since I was like level 52 by time I got around to going up there and pretty well geared up. They couldn't kill me but I was being blasted areound, frozen and punched. I had to make my 2 followers wait outside after the first time since my followers made short work of the Greybeards and had them all crawling round trying to get up.

For this anyone else who needs it, if you can get away from the Greybeards and out any entry/exit to High Hrothgar, just get off the mountain without dying. After you're off the mountain if you fast travel to anywhere else on the map and fast travel back to High Hrothgar they will have lost aggro and will no longer attack you and you will be able to continue.

My wife had this issue as well. We fixed it by fast-traveling to Riverwood and waiting twenty-four hours to see if the cell would reset. Luckily it did, and everything was peachy.
