Fast Sneak Leveling
While starting a new game a while back, I found a quick and easy way to level up sneak that is similar to the greybeard method. It works whether you follow Hadvar or Ralof in the beginning. After escaping the dragon and heading into the Helgan Keep, you continue along until you reach the stealth section where you sneak past the bear. Simply take the weapon of your choice, go behind either Ralof or Hadvar, crouch, and slash away. You will need to get the sneak bonus to level up your sneak. If you aren't getting the bonus, I would recommend waiting 10 seconds between hits. Once you reach level 2, put a point into sneak and that should fix any problems and make it much easier. Personally, I would use two daggers and set it on legendary. This makes it so you level up faster and your follower won't keep falling. WARNING: I would not recommend going all the way to level 100. Enemies level with you, so if you are a high level with only sneak, you might have a hard time killing things. Let me know if there are any other unique ways to level up sneak quickly!

I do this sometimes to reach level 5 or 6. Level sneak, one-handed and even marksman at the same time.

No offence, but this method existed since the game came out a couple years back. It is still very effective.
This might make me sound like a noob, but I realized that when sneaking on a bandit, I pickpocket before I attack. Just got this idea a week or so ago, now I can level pickpocketing, too. I was frustrated forever, before I figured that out.

Amazing what a zillion restarts, and neglecting ones wife will help you discover, hehe.

Yeah I am definitely not the first person to discover this haha but it still works so well I had share it.

I had some points in sneak, and found if I sneaked behind a city guard at night while he made his rounds my sneak went up as I was within his area of awarness. All nitght sneaking around kept raising my sneak. If I was discovered I was not penalized in any way. I'd find a better shadow and start sneaking after him some more. Sneak went up pretty fast. Not as fast as the Cabulb method I'm sure, but I didn't know about this particular "cheat", or "glitch".

I don't remember exactly what skill glitch I discovered in Morrowind when one jumped and attacked at the highth of the attack the thing (one handed attack maybe) really went up fast. Does any one else remember that one?

If leveling is your only criteria then you can go to any inn Go upstairs sneak press the key to autowalk and go watch TV so that you level while doing something else!

Of course at the start of the game do you want armor and weapon training to go up so you don't get clobbered every time you go against a bandit as the enemies level with you and they are leveling their 1 skill one handed sword whatever ! Also their armor is automatically getting better so just leveling sneak gets you levels but skill inprovements require you to use those skills
