Can't turn camera while walking?

I can't turn my character while I'm walking!
It's ridiculously infuriating.

I'm on PC using using WASD keyboard to move and the mouse (touchpad) to look but for some reason I now suddenly have to walk, stop, change direction and then continue walking. Over and over.

The game is now near impossible to play and no matter how many times I reload, re-start, re-install, turn of wait 30 seconds and switch it on again, or hit it with my cat it just doesn't re-jigger itself.

I can't get a xbox 360 controller before you ask. Student poor. I've also switched all the mods off.

I've played this game for over 250 hours before this issue happened.

Ok that's me added a video, its pretty bad but its on my steam profile.

Did you push a button on your laptop by accident? I used to have a laptop where there was a button that disables mouse movement while typing. Does this happen in other games too or maybe outside of a game?
