Falmer Blood

I am one the quest for Septimus where I have to get the blood of elves. I have all but the falmer blood and I cannot get it, I am looking at a falmer right now, I tried activating it and it just goes into the falmer's inventory.

Use the console. Press ~ in-game then type setstage DA04 44 then press enter.

No problem, I'm assuming the console command will fullfill all of the blood requirements so I can go straight back to Septimus?

That command is specific to getting the Falmer blood. You said it was the only one left for you to get.

Stage 40

I met Septimus Signus and brought him a dwarven lexicon containing the distilled knowledge of an Elder Scroll. With it, he believes he can open the lockbox he's been studying by creating a mixture of blood that will resemble dwarven. I need to collect blood from several different races if I want to help him.
Objective 41: Harvest High Elf blood
Objective 42: Harvest Wood Elf blood
Objective 43: Harvest Dark Elf blood
Objective 44: Harvest Falmer blood
Objective 45: Harvest Orc blood

There is a cave called Shimmermist Cave located just West by Northwest of Whiterun thats has Falmer lairing. The guards of Whiterun are known to mention this to player in passing conversation.

Hi! The command did not work for me. I have the same problem. I can not collect the falmer blood :-S

On my map of Skyrim, Shimmermist Cave is NorthEast of Whiterun!
