Frost salts

i need to know where i can get frost salts for a mod im using

Alchemy shops

They're classified as an ingredient, so you can buy them from a lot of alchemist shops. In fact, I think the alchemist in Whiterun sells them. I know I've found fire salts there, so why not frost salts?

If you search the UESP for a given ingredient (e.g. Frost Salts) it will generally list all locations where you are guaranteed to find a sample of that ingredient (either harvestable or already picked in the case of plant ingredients.) They're classed as rare, so alchemists *may* have them but you may have to visit a few different alchemists to find them in stock.

(If you don't know what the UESP is then google "uesp frost salts" and bookmark the site! It's occasionally a bit iffy on lore matters, but very useful for gameplay stuff.)

They're not something you'll encounter very much, in my experience (some enemies summon them, but it tends to be somewhat randomised, I think.)
