Dog meat, what is it good for.......
seriously I have no end of it and so far no use of it, perhaps I have missed something?

Some items are literally useless. Like death hound collars. Dog meat, on the other hand, restores health.

I just googled it and apparently it's used on the Atrianach alter to create unbound Deadra. Ohhhhh!

Thanks Mahrtin, it must be the crazy English in me, I just don't eat dog or horse :D Besides I have plenty of Mead and soups, not forgetting the cheese that seems to be everywhere.

I think it was originally a nod towards Dogmeat, the dog from Fallout.

Why? It meat, from a dog that you killed. Same as venison, rabbit, whatever.
